Plays Well with Others?

Research shows that young children who struggle with social-emotional skills have difficulty succeeding both socially and academically. Our Early Learning Experts responded by creating a durable, interactive multi-touch table where children of varying cognitive levels can work together on fun and engaging activities.

Built to Last in the Pre-K Environment

WePlaySmart by Hatch is designed for the early childhood classroom with sturdy construction, casters for mobility and a kid-friendly size and shape. The 10 point multi-touch surface captures the movements of little hands actively playing! Children are learning how to express their emotions at this technology center. The software gives them skills and the hardware is prepared for the process.

This solution also comes with an integrated recording and image capture system in the impact-resistant corner bezel, a keyboard, USB headphones for teachers and more. The keyboard with integrated trackpad stores away in a shelf under the table hidden from little hands. WePlaySmart’s speakers are designed to create an audio “bubble” around the table to keep all children focused during center time.

WePlaySmart

Capture Video Samples of Collaborative Game Play

When children use WePlaySmart, the system captures intelligent, high-definition video footage of their interactions with a 180-degree, fish-eye lens. This data, authentic language samples and visual evidence of the children’s interactions, is automatically recovrded for a more in-depth data sample and is designed to help teachers with developing child assessments and develop individualized, meaningful and impactful instruction.

Cognitive Development

WePlaySmart is designed to be used by two to four children, which allows the activities to encourage peer-to-peer interaction. The table’s surface is made for collaboration, and features designated child play stations on each side. Every WePlaySmart comes with over a year's worth of pre-installed activities and includes over 5,000 unique vocabulary words. The games also provide opportunities to develop math, literacy, social studies and science skills.

Implementation & Training

We are experts in helping educators implement technology in the classroom! That's why our Classroom Integration Consultants (CICs) install the technology in the classroom and ensure that it meets the organization specifications. Teachers and Administrators then take part in on-site training in small groups or even one-on-one! When the CICs leave, educators can take part in our growing bank of online resources.
